You are an experienced game development professional, eager to be a key contributor.
Our software is built in Unreal Engine 4, and we are using the Coherent library for UI. The Coherent UE integration allows us to leverage webstack technology and all the benefits that come with it. You will work primarily in Javascript, using React and other JS libraries to create a responsive SPA that works as the game’s HUD and menuing system. You will work with other UI engineers to build compelling UI and HUD implementations for our players.
Data presentation is an extremely important part of our offering. We love charts and progress bars that are visually amazing and easy to understand!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Product to expand the best esports training platform on the market
Work closely with Design, from specification through production
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years experience in professional UI development
Experience building responsive SPAs in a standard NPM dev/production pipeline (NPM, Webpack, Babel, etc.)
JS, JSX, React and SASS (SCSS) sheets experience
Experience with for Data-driven chart and graph manipulation
Experience with authentication and communication with backends via requests
Experience with state-management packages like Redux or MobX
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Full-stack development experience
Game industry experience
Experience working with Unreal Engine
Working knowledge of C++
Experience hand-coding SVGs for charts
Experience in developing video-game UI
A love of infographics and simplifying data to be presented quickly and clearly
